Who operates this website

Email-draft enquiries
In email-draft mode, information entered into the form is used in your browser to prepare a draft. It is not submitted to a website backend. The draft is sent to Theory Y only when you send it through your email service. Your email provider’s terms and privacy practices also apply.
Direct submissions
When direct submission is enabled, the form sends your name, email, organisation, selected interest, business question and contact consent to Theory Y’s enquiry service. That service may be our database, hosted by our database service provider, or a separately operated business system. We use it to assess and respond to your enquiry. Do not send sensitive or confidential information in the initial enquiry.
Current configuration
This deployment uses direct-submission mode. Enquiries are stored in Theory Y’s database, hosted by our database service provider; a successful response means the enquiry was recorded, not that an engagement was agreed. The configured database storage location is Sydney, Australia. A copy of each new enquiry is emailed to Theory Y’s mailbox through our email delivery provider. Analytics is available on this deployment and loads only after you accept it.
Consent records
When a consent database is configured, choosing a cookie setting also sends an anonymous record to Theory Y’s database, hosted by our database service provider: the random consent identifier, your choice, the notice version and the time. It contains no name, email address or IP address and is used to demonstrate that your choice was respected.
The AI readiness check
The readiness check runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere. A short summary of the result is kept in your browser tab’s session storage so you can choose to add it to an enquiry; it is deleted when you close the tab and included only if you tick the option on the form.
Technical requests and security
Visiting the website sends ordinary HTTP requests to the hosting service. Technical information may include an IP address, requested URL, browser information and timestamps. Such information may be processed by hosting or security providers for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention. Avoid placing private information in URLs.
Use, retention and service providers
Information you send may be used to assess and respond to your enquiry and manage any subsequent business relationship. Hosting, database, enquiry and email service providers may process it, including outside Australia depending on their configuration. Business correspondence is retained according to business needs and applicable obligations; contact us for information about a specific record or provider.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
Email us to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with an enquiry, or to raise a privacy concern. Identity and scope may need to be verified before a request is acted on. Legal, security, recordkeeping or backup requirements may limit deletion.
